Write to me in English. A short description of the situation and any deadline you know of is enough to start.
Or write to me in more detail
You do not need to prepare anything formal. A few lines in English are enough for me to tell you whether I can help and what the next step is.
What should your first message include?
- A short description of the situation: who is involved, what happened, what you want to achieve.
- Any deadline you know of, or the date you received the document that worries you. Many Romanian deadlines are short and run from the day a document is handed to you or delivered.
- Photos or scans of the documents you have: the contract, the decision, the fine notice, the letter from the bailiff. Romanian is fine, I read them as they are.
I usually reply the same working day. If your matter has a deadline in the next few days, say so in the first line and call rather than write.
How do consultations take place?
By phone, WhatsApp, video call or in person at my office. Meetings at the office are by appointment, so write or call first. If you are outside Romania, everything up to and including signing the lawyer’s power of attorney (împuternicire avocațială) can be done remotely.
Where is the office?
Calea Dorobanților 39-41, bl. A, sc. 1, ap. 1, Cluj-Napoca. Office hours are Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 20:00.
Before you write, you may find part of the answer on the employment law pages or on the home page, where the other areas I handle are listed.
